I’m an Internationally Board Certified Integrative Nutrition Health and Wellnes Coach and certified Pilates Instructor, Wholesome Together is about living a wholesome, balanced and vibrant life. I specialize in detoxification through the four elements, Earth, air, water and fire. We consume all four elements daily and our body’s detoxification system works to detoxify our bodies, but is limited. The amount of toxins in our air, water, food, and land have significantly increased over the years, putting havoc on our immune systems causing inflammation, autoimmune disease, cancer, hormonal imblances, infertility, accelerated aging, and chronic illnesses. I see the body holistically as a whole. Pilates is a holistic exercise system of controlled movements designed to coordinate the mind, body and spirit. Pilates is not just a physical exercise but also mental exercise. It engages both body and mind for holistic wellness. I will provide and empower you with clean ingredients, mindful movement, healthy recipes, non-toxic beauty tips, and helpful tools get your body healthy and reach and sustain your healthy lifestyle goals.
My passion for Health and Wellness has been a part of my life from a very young age. I became a Personal Fitness trainer at the age of 18 while attending Cosmetology School at Vidal Sasson. I became a hair colorist and have been practicing for 22 years. I completed two L.A. Marathons and trained for a Body Building competition in the Bikini catergory, I have practiced Yoga for 12 years. After high intensity training, running, lifting weights, and doing hair I began to have neck pain. In 2011 I had a microdiscectomy in my cervical spine due to two ruptured and fragmented discs. My surgeon recommended Pilates. I began training with pilates and fell in love with the mindful movements and awareness utilizing my breath, I found it to benefit my body more than any other exercise and my neck pain is essentially non existent. I practiced Pilates for 12 years, and then decided to start my journey on becoming an instructor. I’m currently teaching at Natural Pilates, healing others through mindful movement and mind body connection.
After my mother was diagnosed with a rare Neurological terminal illness called MSA, and passed away 5 years later, I started to gain knowledge about toxins and their negative affects on our health, I started learning more about the power of food and discovered superfoods that have the power to prevent disease, illness, and detoxify. My mother was also a Hair Stylist for over 40 years and consistantly worked with chemicals. My awareness in the dangers of environmental toxins became greater and I could not help but correlate it to my mother’s illness.. After becoming a mother myself, my passion for “We are what we absorb” became even greater and my passion for homeopothy and holistic nutrition flourished.
Holistic (mind-body-spirit) means looking at the big picture of Health and Wellness. This means honoring the body as a holistic system and recognizing that everything is connected. Getting adequate sleep, mindful movement, how we deal with stress and who we surround ourselves with is primary food to whats on the table. I’ll help you make sustainable life changes that nourish you healthfully and mindfully, on and off the plate. As a Holistic Health Coach I will guide you in discovering the foods you love that heal, detoxify, nourish your body. I believe in Bio-Individuality, there is no one size fits all diet. I’m hear to listen to your specific needs and guide you toward your goals, support, inspire and motivate you. Through Wholefoods, Superfoods, Super Herbs and crowding out the foods that don’t nourish you, You will have your own tools and knowledge on how you percieve and manage stress, lose weight, balance your hormones, get radiant skin, prepare for conception, Longevity tricks, feel energized, and detoxify from food, wate, and environmental toxins and live your best life til 120!!
Detoxification is the most important process for our vital organs we want to limit our toxic load in what we can control, it is impossible to not consume any toxins. When we wake in the morning we already breathe in hundreds to thousands of toxins in our homes, learn how to detoxify your life and live happier, healtier, skinnier, and vibrant!! Adequate elimination is important to assure proper nutritional absorption and detoxification.
